PASTOR'S WELCOME

Welcome! I am pleased and I praise God that you have entered our website. I hope you find our ministry to be an inspiration and a blessing. I believe you will find a place of restoration, renewal and relationships here at Church of The Living Word.

This is an exciting place to connect with others on their journey as they seek their purpose in life. It’s a home for the whole family to learn about God in a way that is not only practical but also fun.

Paul wrote to the Romans: …“in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” What is this? It’s a family! We are a purposely intergenerational group, celebrating the diversity of our lives together. Young, not so young, married, single, widowed, different ethnic backgrounds, different economic circumstances…all facets of life are represented in Church of The Living Word.

Jesus established the church to be a community of believers, a family, to encourage each other in unity and to project His life to the world. As a family, our goal is to love each other without conditions or expectations. We confess that we are unable, on our own, to practice the unconditional love demonstrated by our Father, but we pray and desire that He empowers us to demonstrate His love to you and those around us.

If you are searching for a group of people to accept you where you are and challenge you to grow in your reflection of God’s love, “Welcome” for that is our goal. For those who call this “home,” we commit to pray, to listen with compassion, to forgive and to nurture. If you are not perfect, if your are looking for grace and love and an opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself, something that can change the world, we invite you to experience our church family.
