Being The Express Image Of Jesus
2Corinthians 5:10-AMP
For we must all appear and be revealed as we are before the judgment seat of
Christ, so that each one may receive [his pay] according to what he has done in
the body, …
Our perceived image is how others see us. Our projected image is the way we
desire others to see us. Our actual image is who we really are,
Jesus’ stepbrothers pressured Him to live out of a projected image:
John 7:3-5-Passion
3 So Jesus’ brothers came to advise him, saying, “Why don’t you leave the
countryside villages and go to Judea where the crowds are, so that your followers
can see your miracles?
4 No one can see what you’re doing here in the backwoods of Galilee. How do
you expect to be successful and famous if you do all these things in secret? Now
is your time—go to Jerusalem, come out of hiding, and show the world who you
are!”
5 His brothers were pushing him, even though they didn’t yet believe in him as
the Savior.
